Castle of Medina del Campo (Valladollid)

The castle of La Mota is located in the town of Medina del Campo and from 15th century dominates throughout its extensive region from an elevation of the terrain - mota-. It spent the last months of life of queen Isabella I of Castilla.

Medina del Campo is a municipality located in the south-west of the province of Valladolid, in the Autonomous Community of Castilla y León. The villa is head of the Commonwealth of lands from Medina, consisting of approximately thirty municipalities.
