Castle of Santo Domingo-Caudilla (Toledo)

Caudilla castle, also known as Rivadeneyra castle, was built in the 15th century on the outskirts of the now abandoned village of Caudilla. It was a small palace castle of the late feudal period, no military utility.

Castle of Guardamar del Segura (Alicante)

The castle of Guardamar del Segura is on a rocky hill site near the town of the same name. Of arab origin, it is an elongated enclosure divided into two sections. The top is the castle itself, dated to the first half of the twelfth century. The bottom is larger and is surrounded by a gothic wall where the villa remained within these walls until the earthquake of 1829.

The castle completely dominates the city of Xàtiva. The original nucleus lies in the current Minor Castle, of Iberian origin, being later occupied by the romans, who also began the construction of the Largest Castle. The current set, however, presents an islamic architecture.
