Castle of Cullera (Valencia)

The castle is nestled in the mountains of the Foxes

The castle is a construction of the caliphate period 10th century built by the Cordoba State for the defence of the coastline and the mouth of the river Júcar. The year 1239 step into christian hands being King Jaime I the Conquistador who would reinforce the old arab fortress.
